A relevant Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) with at least four years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/ or industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. A Doctorate would be an advantage. Competence to teach at least three of the following courses: Architectural Design, History and Theory of Architecture, Construction Materials and Technology, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, History and Theory of Architecture, Building Structures and Environmental Technology at both under- and post-graduate levels. Good leadership quality and management skills are required. Excellent English communication skills (oral and writing). A Doctorate as well as a credible record of teaching, peer-reviewed publications in accredited journals and service will be an advantage. Registered or registerable with the Namibian Council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors or another similarly recognised relevant statutory professional body within the Southern African sub-region.
