This is a full-time, fixed term Music Instructor position specializing in Woodwinds. This position will teach Applied Studio, Theory, Aural Perception, Form and Style, Music Appreciation, Woodwind Pedagogy, and Ensemble conducting.

The successful candidate will be required to advise, recruit and retain woodwind majors and serve on department committees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree or higher in Music or related field
  • Evidence of successful teaching experience, including woodwind instruction
  • Performance History

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD
  • Coursework and/or degree emphasizing Woodwind Performance
  • Performance history including classical and jazz
