This position is a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank. The School of Art seeks an art historian with a demonstrated record of research in any field of art since 1960 who can show evidence of excellence in teaching both undergraduate general education courses and courses for majors at the undergraduate and graduate level in Art History and Studio Art programs.
TEACHING: This position will teach undergraduate general education courses and courses for majors at the undergraduate and graduate level in Art History and Studio Art.
RESEARCH: Candidate is expected to participate in scholarly and/or professional research activities.
SERVICE: Provide services to the School, College, and University and assist in program development. Participate in student advising and mentoring.
Ph.D in Art History – Record of consistent, ongoing scholarly activity
