The Director of the School of Music within the College of Fine Arts at Wichita State University leads a well-established music program with an international reputation for excellence: providing administrative, academic, and artistic leadership to a diverse group of talented faculty and staff; fostering support for school, college, and university goals; and advocating for the School within and outside the College and University.
Applicants should have the terminal degree with a specialty in any field of music or comparable professional experience to qualify for appointment at or above the rank of Associate Professor with tenure.
