We have a vacancy for a passionate, innovative and inspiring Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (specialising in Jazz performance) to grow student knowledge in the genre of Jazz and collaborate with music networks nationally and internationally. We are seeking applications from candidates who hold a doctoral degree (or equivalent) in jazz performance or jazz studies (as primary or secondary area).

The successful appointee will be required to deliver applied jazz performance lessons (one-to-one and ensemble), academic lectures in jazz theory as well as related subjects and to contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students. They will be committed to musical excellence, flexibility and provide leadership as both an artist and researcher. We are seeking a Lecturer who can nurture creativity and influence musicians in diverse musical styles from a range of creative backgrounds.
