The Theatre program, housed within the School of Theatre & Dance, is an undergraduate program fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. The program’s focus is theatre as a performing art, and offers a BA in Theatre with concentrations available in performance and in design. Regular theatre and dance productions in several performance spaces (550-seat proscenium; 250-seat black box; 2 studio/classroom theatres) give faculty and student designers, directors, performers and guest artists opportunities to practice their art. There are twelve full-time professionally active faculty members in theatre, and 130 theatre majors. The school has two substantial endowments that fund annual residencies with national and international guest artists. Please review our home page at http://theatreanddance.arts.usf.edu/.
