The College of Music (COM) is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and collaborative event production technical director to join our operations team. The successful candidate will manage the technical aspects of student and faculty productions and serve as a primary technical point of contact for the College of Music. This position will also serve as a lead audio recording staff member. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with faculty, staff, and students in one of the largest public and nationally recognized music institutions in the United States.
To serve as an assistant to the Recording Services director in recording of student recitals and student ensembles, as well as helping to manage daily maintenance, installations and setup of recording equipment that services student recording. Record and/or edit commercial/public release music recording projects.
