The successful candidate will Direct the University Jazz Ensemble. In addition, the successful candidate will teach courses in Music from the following: History of Jazz, History of Black Music in America, Arranging, and Composition, and Studio Woodwinds (Saxophone preferred)., as well as courses in Music and other related duties based on program/departmental need. The candidate will be responsible for advising students and service to the department, College and University is also expected.
The successful candidate must have a solid background in Jazz.
