The Department of Theatre and Drama seeks candidates for appointment as Professor of Acting (Open Rank) to begin August 2020.

The Department is committed to developing future generations of theatre artists and audiences. We are looking for an energetic and experienced professional interested in joining our diverse, dynamic, and collaborative team.

Theatre and Drama faculty are expected to initially develop and teach one large enrollment course to support our size-limited practical courses. The departments of Theatre, Art, and Dance are housed in UW-Madison’s highly acclaimed School of Education, which values interdisciplinary collaborations and supports the arts as we enrich our global community.
