Dramaturgy Faculty Position (tenure track, open rank) @ Carnegie Mellon University

The School of Drama within the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University seeks a full-time faculty member (tenure track, open rank) to join our undergraduate Dramaturgy program.

Applicants should hold an MFA or professional equivalent and have a strong capacity to teach the professional practice of dramaturgy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years teaching experience in a higher education setting. Candidates who specialize in new play dramaturgy are particularly encouraged to apply.

We seek a dynamic, student-centered teacher who can offer undergraduate courses in production dramaturgy, new play dramaturgy, and inclusive dramatic literature, criticism, or history; advise undergraduate majors in production dramaturgy; and augment our success in connecting students to professional opportunities and resources in theater, film, television, and affiliated fields. The position is Pittsburgh based.
