Carnegie Mellon University’s John Wells Directing Program invites applications for a full time, open rank, tenure-track Directing faculty position.

  • The position is Pittsburgh, PA based and begins academic year 2025-26, with a commitment of nine months per year, with an initial appointment of three years.
  • Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States. CMU will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this  opportunity.
