Connecticut College invites applications for a visiting assistant theater professor (one year) in production and stage management; experience in a design specialty and/or technical direction is also welcomed. This position is projected to start on August 1, 2022 or whenever the position is filled. This position is expected to be renewed in following years. 
 
Teach 4 courses over the year in technical theater and the design process, stage management, production and/or a design specialty; production management of our season; other responsibilities will include mentoring students, supervising crew and collaborating with professional guest artists and designers. MFA required with teaching and/or leadership experience preferred. 

Connecticut College’s theater department consists of four full-time theater faculty members, adjuncts and guest artists and designers. Our passionate students are taught to put the liberal arts into action as artists, scholars and citizens. Conn has a demonstrated commitment to outstanding faculty teaching and research and is committed to articulating new and imaginative ways to approach theater as a practice and shared experience. We opened our newly renovated theater building this year.
