The Art & Design Department at Seton Hill University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts invites applications for a one-year full time lecturer in Art History. This appointment is for a generalist in Art History teaching four survey courses per semester, including History of Art, Twentieth Century Art, Renaissance Art, and American Art. This coursework supports a variety of Art majors, as well as cross-disciplinary, liberal arts majors. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pedagogy that addresses diversity, inclusion and social justice in art history as well as an interest in the liberal arts. PHD desired or ABD in appropriate Art History program. Prior teaching experience preferred. August 1, 2024 start date.
