Job Summary
Teach applied Brass, Brass Methods, Chamber Ensemble, and Music History
Teach related methods and music literature courses. All faculty are expected to participate fully in departmental and university affairs: this includes serving on committees, academic advising, and student recruitment.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Candidate should have a strong record of teaching and performance excellence in directing collegiate and secondary school band/orchestra programs
Significant commitment to music performance and education.

· Teach music history and /or sight singing and aural skills
· Conduct chamber ensemble develop brass ensemble

Qualifications
The applicant must have a minimum of a Doctor’s degree in Music with a strong background in applied Brass. College teaching experience preferred. Experience with Orchestra is a plus. Ability to lead Brass sectionals in jazz,wind ensemble and Marching band settings a plus
