The Department of Architecture at the University at Buffalo - The State University of New York (SUNY) is seeking applications for clinical assistant professors. The search aims to expand the department’s professional and industry partnerships, commensurately enhancing students’ education and career opportunities, supporting faculty and student research, and launching new programs, specializations, and projects.
The Department of Architecture offers a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, a Master of Architecture, and a Master of Science in Architecture. The master’s programs are uniquely organized along five overlapping Graduate Research Groups: ecological practices, inclusive design, material culture, situated technologies, and urban design. The city of Buffalo constitutes a living laboratory for hands-on learning to reconstitute the built environment by engaging with a broad range of cultural and physical materials at a variety of scales, including partnerships with industry, community organizations, and government entities.
