Description
As part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Dance Coach to promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by assisting in the general operation of the Marian Dance program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the supervision and organization of practices and games while complying with relevant rules and regulations
Maintain proper and appropriate discipline among students during athletic contests, practices, and while on trips off campus.
Under supervision by the Head Dance coach, is responsible for conducting Dance practices in season and during spring.
Comply with policies established by federal and state laws, Marian University, Conference, and NAIA policies and procedures
Promote the philosophy and values of the Athletic Program and Marian University’s
Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Preferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Prior coaching experience (high school, college, and/or studio/club)
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must display excellent customer and staff relation skills
Knowledge of and a commitment to the mission of Marian University
