The Department of Art and Design at Binghamton University (SUNY) invites applications for Instructor in Graphic Design. The initial appointment is one academic year with possible renewal.
We seek applicants with MFA in Graphic Design, knowledge of graphic design theory and methodology, typography, print and web design, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A fluency in Mac OS, Adobe CC, and other industry-standard print and web design software is required. The position includes teaching all levels of graphic design classes from 2D design, typography, print and web design; assisting in maintaining digital equipment/resources, contribute to developing strong culture of design research and practice in the department and advising students.
QUALIFICATIONS: We require an MFA in graphic design. College teaching experience is preferred.
