  • Scope of employment: 20 hours per week (11 hours teaching; 50% employment)
  • Duration of employment: initially limited to three years; due to positive evaluation - permanent position
  • Salary group: LD 8 Upper Austrian salary law 2001 (Oö. Gehaltsgesetzes 2001)
  • Gross monthly salary: from EUR 2.638,65 (depending on creditable previous service)
  • Planned start of employment: 01/10/2025
  • Selection procedure: according to the appointment regulations - hearing

Requirements:

  • Outstanding artistic and artistic-pedagogical qualifications on the violoncello
  • A domestic or equivalent foreign university degree or equivalent artistic or artistic-academic aptitude appropriate to the position
  • International concert experience
  • Extensive teaching experience
  • Willingness to cooperate and ability to work in a team
  • Regular attendance at the Anton Bruckner Private University

Role & responsibilities

  • Leading a violoncello class as part of artistic and artistic-pedagogical training in the Bachelor's and Master's degree program and, if necessary, supervision of supplementary subjects, in particular didactics and teaching practice or ensemble/chamber music.
  • In addition to teaching courses, the teaching activities include the necessary preparation and follow-up activities, event and examination activities, research and administrative activities associated with teaching, participation in committees and the supervision and assessment of final theses.
