Project specialist for online teaching in design and in Radical Creativity
for a fixed period of 1.9.2022-31.12.2024
We are seeking for a project specialist who will be in charge of creating and managing content and teaching at Aalto University in the multidisciplinary area of
Radical Creativity. We are looking for candidates who have a drive for on-line teaching and learning as well as interest and aptitude for collaboration across Aalto University.
In this position, you work at the Department of Design at School of Art and Design and work closely with the Radical Creativity network. Radical Creativity is one of the cross-cutting themes of Aalto's strategy.
Your role and goals- Creation of an on-line course contents in collaboration with an assisting teacher and a team of Radical Creativity .
- Teaching and BA- and MA-thesis supervision in the department of design, including the International Design Business Management - master’s programme (IDBM)
- Support of online-teaching in other programmes of the department of design
- Participation in the administration of teaching
Your skills and experience- Good knowledge of creativity and creative pedagogy
- At least Master´s degree in a relevant field
- Fluent oral and written proficiency in English
- Good teaching skills and experience in teaching in higher education institutions
- Good knowledge of using information and communication technology in different learning environments
- Experience in producing audio-visual teaching materials
- Preferably you also have some experience in massive open online teaching and e-learning design

The position is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, in a new campus building made and designed for the School of ARTS and the School of Business.
