Requirements

  • Outstanding artistic qualification in the field of composition, also with a focus on contemporary music in an interdisciplinary context in accordance with the orientation of the house as a 3-discipline house (music, dance, drama)
  • A completed domestic or equivalent foreign university education appropriate to the position or an equivalent artistic or artistic-scientific aptitude
  • International networking, presence, guest lectures, airplay etc.
  • Experience in supervising scientific and/or artistic-scientific work and own artistic, artistic-scientific or scientific research projects/publications
  • Extensive teaching experience
  • Cooperativeness and teamwork
  • Regular attendance at the Anton Bruckner Private University

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leading a composition class within the framework of artistic education in the bachelor and master studies and teaching of the relevant supplementary subjects (ensemble work, composition techniques in new music, selected chapters of new music)
