GRINNELL COLLEGE - Department of Theatre and Dance - ONE-YEAR VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN PERFORMANCE STUDIES (START FALL 2020). 

The Department of Theatre and Dance invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Performance Studies beginning Fall 2020. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Performance Studies or a related field (Advanced ABD candidates will be considered); successful college-level teaching experience; and a strong record in scholarly and/or creative research. Teaching responsibilities include a three-course series in Performance Studies, a course in the candidate’s area of expertise, and directing one of the department’s mainstage productions. The new hire will be expected to share their research with the Grinnell community and to be a contributing member of the Theatre and Dance faculty.
