Qualifications: The successful candidate is a congenial collaborator and a mentor with strong oral and written communication skills. Requirements: terminal degree in costume design, experience in: undergraduate teaching, costume construction including period construction, makeup, wig/hair and wardrobe. Preference given to candidates with additional expertise in other areas of design; experience designing for dance; knowledge of online course delivery.
Description: This is a one-year appointment with a Tenure Track search to follow beginning in Fall 2022. Duties could include but not limited to: teaching design/ technical theatre classes, Theatre Appreciation, makeup, advanced makeup, basic sewing for stagecraft class, supervise shop manager and work studies, and design costumes.
