The College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) at the University of North Texas invites applications for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Design, with an expertise in the area of graphic design, communication design studio, typography, color, motion graphics, prototyping/development.
1-year contract (potentially renewable up to one additional year). Salary commensurate with experience. The college’s standard teaching load for Visiting Assistant Professor positions is six (6) courses per academic year, negotiable based on specific duties. Additional responsibilities may include mentoring students, service to the college and university, maintaining an active research agenda and other types of professional development. The College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas is looking to fill up to seven (7) Visiting Assistant Professor positions conceptualized as post-degree positions with teaching expectations.
