Coordinator of Performance Spaces: Temporary Contractor Position
Reporting to the Dean of Arts and Sciences or his/her delegate in consultation with the
Director of Performance Spaces and the Department of Performing Arts, the
Coordinator of Performance Spaces is responsible for the successful planning,
implementation, and coordination of events, performances and rehearsals in the

Under the supervision of the Director and in consultation with the Department of
Performing Arts, work with all event producing entities at USF, as well as outside
groups, to create a season of engaging programming at the USF performance
Manage and schedule all events in Presentation Theater and Studio Theater in
conjunction with Performing Arts Department, College of Arts and Sciences,
student groups, and Events Management, as well as other departments and

Hire, train, and supervise student staff, including 12 producing assistants, and 1012 front of house staff.
Manage the front of house and box office function for performance spaces.
Manage venue-specific marketing platforms, such as venue bulletin boards,
display cases, social media, and websites.
Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of performance spaces, including
work orders with relevant USF departments.
Coordinate community outreach including internships, and develop and
strengthen campus community arts partnerships.
Possibility of teaching occasional design, technical theater, or stage management
courses, depending on interests, experience and expertise.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience planning performances and productions or
BA in Theater, Performing Arts, or equivalent experience
