The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, seeks a creative theatre artist to teach and mentor student Sound Designers in its B.A. and M.F.A. Design and Technology programs. The Department’s core goals are to establish and nurture a creative, intellectual, inclusive and interdisciplinary environment that facilitates innovation, exploration, and refinement in dance and theatre arts, embraces the challenges and opportunities presented by the diversity of the ever-changing society in which we live, and fosters a spirit of collaboration and exchange among University students, faculty, personnel, and with the Minnesota and world communities beyond. The department is a member of the University / Resident Theater Association and is committed to academic excellence in the context of professional training.

Appointment will be 100% time over the nine-month academic year (late-August to late-May). Appointment will be at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor, depending on qualifications and experience, and consistent with collegiate and University policy.
