    Special Qualifications
    In keeping with the President’s commitment to Tuskegee University Becoming “One Tuskegee,” the ideal Piano Instructor will possess the willingness use their expertise in transforming Tuskegee into a leading 21st century living and learning environment.

    Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:


    Teach all piano principals, minors and electives.
    Teach six to seven credits of Music History and/or Music Theory.
    Provide accompaniment for all Tuskegee Choir performances and rehearsals, including weekly All-University Worship services, and the annual spring tour: provide accompaniment and music for major academic functions(e.g. convocations, commencements, etc.).


    Qualifications
    While the earned doctorate or artist  diploma in accompanying  (or ABD status) is recommended, the candidate must possess a Master of Music degree and have vast experince in accompanying, including gospel music. The candidate must possess knowedge of vocal literature.
