    The University of Arkansas seeks applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor of Painting (R0063480). The successful candidate’s responsibilities include teaching painting at all levels. This position will also have responsibility for advising and mentoring students, participating in recruitment and retention activities, curriculum assessment and development, grant program administration, and contributing to unit, college and university committees.     Required Qualifications:  An MFA in painting, studio art, or a related field, and evidence of scholarship related to the position requirements.


    Preferred Qualifications: University-level teaching experience beyond graduate assistantships, a strong record of creative work and evidence of ongoing professional achievement, and experience working with a diverse population of learners.
