Her research interests focus on functional design for sportswear and protective gear, development of fashion products, and fashion technology. She has conducted Cotton Incorporated funded research projects on mature female consumers for tennis and golf wear and juniors for golf wear. Her research has been presented to international and national conferences as well as published in peer-reviewed international journals. Her creative design work has also appeared in international and national juried exhibitions.
