Francesco Mancini is interested in studying the built form from two standpoints. The first one looks at the evolution of building typologies and urban morphologies focusing on the role of built form in shaping a resilient civic domain. The second research theme concentrates on the analysis of design processes and languages which inform the production of objects, services, buildings and cities. The main focus is on Design Thinking and Design innovation concerning cultural, artistic and philosophic contexts of western and non-western tradition.
