A vibrant undergraduate program delivering a rigorous theatre education within a liberal arts context. The Department produces a full season of 6 productions as well as several laboratory events. Our reputable professional faculty provide comprehensive training in acting, design/technical theatre and dance. A department chair serves both as a faculty member, academic administrator and leader. Chairs are engaged in teaching and scholarship. As an external hire of the department chair, hiring at the rank of professor is required. MFA or PHD, teaching and administrative experience required.
