Screenwriting for Film and Television (tenure track)
The application is open for Assistant Professor level in the Aalto University tenure track system. The position will start on November 1, 2025 or as agreed and is full-time.
Job description
The Professor of Film and Television Screenwriting is responsible for teaching screenwriting and planning teaching, especially in the Master's programme, and for the development of the field at the University. The aim of the training is to support the development of students towards self-expression and professionalism as scriptwriters for various forms and genres of film and television and as specialists in the field. It combines theory and practice, as well as cooperation with other film majors, other higher education institutions and the professional community.
Requirement: excellent written and oral skills in Finnish and English (fluency in Swedish is considered to be an advantage).
