The Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at Tufts University is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer to teach a musical theatre repertory course to undergraduate theatre students in a BA program in Fall 2024.

The Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies offers a collegial environment for thinking critically about histories and institutions of power. The department is invested in illuminating how social and cultural formations inform performances on and off the stage. Given the department’s commitment to both student and faculty success, we are confident that the candidate will find an intellectual and creative home at Tufts as well as an enthusiastic and engaged classroom environment.

Qualifications

The candidate must hold a record of creative practice. Candidates may hold an MFA or commensurate experience in Acting, Musical Theatre, or a related field.
