Architecture + Interior Design: Tenure-track Assistant Professor in in the area of: Community Engagement, Architecture, Urban Design & Urban Planning, Full-time, Tenure-track, to begin August, 2019.
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, to include design studios and critiques; advise students; pursue a research agenda and publication plan; provide engagement with/through the Miami University Center for Community Engagement in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, OH; provide service to the University.
Required: Terminal degree at a Masters or PhD level, or its equivalent, in Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, or closely related field by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with experience in community engagement; or registration as an architect; or a publication record; or experience in digital design & media, or related art or design field experience, along with interest in connecting scholarly discipline and design in collegial, forward-thinking design department.
