Assistant or Associate Professor of Theatre History and Performance Studies; full-time, tenure-track or tenured, nine-month, academic-year position. Starts January 2019 or August 2019. Salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Teach graduate/undergraduate courses in theatre history and performance studies. Maintain national/international reputation for research. Active involvement in faculty governance and intellectual/artistic life of the School, College and University community. Search is contingent upon funding. PhD degree and expertise in theatre history and performance studies; five years university or college teaching; experience supervising student research; a research agenda that will enhance the diversity of our PhD Program in Theatre and Performance Studies. Preference will be given to individuals who specialize in Latinx and/or Latin American theatre and performance studies. Full consideration will also be given to African and African-American theatre and performance research, and to Asian and Asian-American theatre and performance research.
