    The School of Architecture at the University of Kentucky invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Regular Title Series.

    The successful candidate will have an initial appointment of 65% teaching, 30% research, and 5% service within the School of Architecture. Job duties include the pursuit of a vigorous research program and the delivery of high-quality teaching to both graduate and/or undergraduate students.

    Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Architectural History and Theory, or related field, with a specialty in modern and contemporary architecture.

    About the School of Architecture

    As the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s sole NAAB accredited Architecture program, UK offers a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, as well as two- and three-year Master of Architecture programs. Established in 1965, the School of Architecture today employs 30 full and part-time faculty, who teach over 300 graduate and undergraduate students. Our program has recently moved into a new College of Design building and facilities for the School of Architecture, as well as new College leadership that will leverage our school’s strengths towards an outstanding, vibrant future.
